WeTransfer wins Wallpaper* Design Award

LONDON - January 13, 2021 - WeTransfer, the company that makes tools to move ideas, has been awarded the ‘Best Online Platform’ at the 2021 Wallpaper* Design Awards, one of the most highly-regarded awards in the design industry. 

Global design authority Wallpaper* magazine’s Design Awards honor the outstanding places, products and people that demonstrate “inspiring feats of creative brilliance” from the past 12 months. The awards are a testament to “design’s ability to respond to evolving needs, lift our spirits, and serve the public good.”

Described as a “cornerstone of modern creative business” and a “vital creative backbone”, WeTransfer’s win at the Wallpaper* Design Awards for ‘Best Online Platform’ celebrates the company’s commitment to industry-leading design in the digital and creative sphere across its suite of tools. 

The Award also recognises WeTransfer’s support of social causes, by giving 30% of advertising space to both emerging creatives and activist organisations such as gun control advocates, for free, and its public research activities such as the 2020 Ideas Report, which surveyed 35,000 creatives across the globe on how the pandemic affected their ideas.
